Korean pros

I was watching the NASL yesterday, for those of you who don't know what that is its the North American star league.
Simply put, its the North American eSport version of basketball play offs or a football conference. the match in question was between two Protoss, VTKiwiKaki and oGsmc.

these two guys are well known for being incredibly good at playing their races in their respective home countries (mc -Korean KiwiKaki- Canada) however last nights match was a slaughter. mc completely had KiwiKaki on edge through out both games.

It was really frustrating to see someone like mc advance and possibly win the NASL. foreigners never have much luck in the GSL. That being the Korean equivalent of the NASL.

Watching a game like that really made me think about how big the skill difference is in the world.

Eyyy

New day moar ladderin!

at 9am I already got my 5 wins done, for awhile I was on a winning streak. I think I'm getting the hang of my build, just minor things I have to do get used to following it under pressure.

I took yesterday off so that means that I have an extra 5 wins that I have to make up :/
all this playing made me respect pro gamers more, I know that everybody seems to think their doing something they love, or that its easy to do what they do. But in actuality having to doing this day after day hour after hour would be bound to increase someones dislike for something.

It wouldn't be something they like anymore, I played for 2 hours won 5 games but lost 4 in the process and I already am going to take a break for a couple of hours.
mad props to those guys.

Sliver leaguing

First step I decided to make towards getting better at SC2 is win a mandatory 5 games a day. so far I've been keeping in check with this and actually haven't taken it that hard when I lose.

It used to get me so pissed whenever I lost, I'd shout IMBA or thats a pretty nice race whenever I'd lose but recently I've learned to take it in stride.

I figure every loss I get just helps me learn more, each match shows me a little something more that I can improve on.
Like Duckload-ra says

"No GG = no Skill"

NEW ISH

Been awhile since I've posted in this thing! time to change direction a bit and talk about something else I've really been meaning to do.

I've decided that since I already spend so much time playing SC2 that I might as well try to make some money off it and thats what I'll do!

I already signed up for a tourney just to gauge where I'm at, from now on I'mma talk about SC2 Strategy and some things that really irk me about the game in general.
